Who we are

The Health Optimization Cruise is hosted by aPlantBasedDiet.org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This policy covers www.healthoptimizationcruise.org.

What we collect

When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number, how you prefer to be contacted, your travel and stateroom preferences, any dietary needs or allergies you mention, and your message. The form sends this by email to the cruise organizers and our travel agent so we can answer you. If you text us or join our WhatsApp group, we see the details you share there.

If you tick the email updates box, we add you to our cruise email list, and you can ask to be removed at any time. We do not sell or rent your information, and we only use it to answer your questions and help you plan your cruise.

Bookings and payments

The event fee is paid on Eventbrite, and staterooms are booked through our travel agent with Celebrity Cruises. Those companies process your payment and booking details under their own privacy policies. Eventbrite shares the attendee details you give it with us so we can organize the event.

Embedded content and links

Some pages show YouTube videos and link to Eventbrite, WhatsApp and other sites. When you play a video or follow a link, that site may collect data about you under its own policy.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies it needs to work. If we add analytics in future, we will update this page to say so.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need them to answer you and run the cruise, then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to us through the contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
